Running with (kettle)bells

If I ever create a training log, that's what it will be called. Kettlebell training is making my run times faster.

Today's run:
4.35 miles (my hilly 4 mile route, plus a little extra)
38:22 minutes
8:48 pace (!)
700 calories (I will refuel with healthy, fresh stuff)

I'm already feeling more balanced now that I'm eating less sugar. Life's still busy but it feels good busy, not "my life is going to eat me" busy, which is a very welcome change indeed!

You're doing brilliantly Leslie, and you should be proud of yourself.

WELL DONE, and best wishes :-) :-).

Wow, that's great Leslie! I see they are now selling Kettlebells at Target. Hubby wants to get me some. I'm thinking I should let him!

Yup, sugar is bad. I'm trying my darndest to stay away from it too. But I'd rather have sugar than any of that imitation crap they've got out now. YUCK!

Kettle bells haven't hit Aussie shores yet, but I'm sure they are coming ;)

Great job!! I too enjoy a busy day, but not TO busy. I like to get a lot done in my day without that over whelming feeling. Glad you are getting balanced ;)

There's nothing better than that "cross-over" effect from kettlebell training. I'm so glad you're "getting it"!!!

My kettlebell training makes me better at everything I do!
