No time, no energy

Lots to talk about but no time or energy to write. I promise I'm still here -- just trying to keep my head above water during the last week of school. This weekend we have ZERO plans, and I intend to keep it that way. One of tonight's clients told me that she and her man spend one entire day of each weekend in pj's, just hanging out and reading and talking and watching movies. With how fast life's been going, that sounds absolutely fabulous!

Oh boy doesn't that sound marvelous! I should DEMAND a day like that! Ok, whose kiddin' who here? Like THAT'S gonna happen. Once you have kids who can drive and have their own cars and their own house keys, there isn't a day you can just sit around in pj's and relax! Sending some ~~~energy~~~vibes your way!

I recently *caught* one of my neighbors doing just that. I was going door-to-door looking for baking soda (so I could make cookies!) and it was her birthday. That was what she wanted to do for the day...stay in her pj's. She was mortified to come to the door, but I was jealous! (And she was the only one on the block who actually had baking soda....)

It is a wonderful thing. When I did that last Monday it felt great!! You must at least do it once every so often to re-energize (the kids don't have to, but they need to know you will not be available to go anywhere).

This week is almost over...

I'd kill for one of those days .... or hell, even just half a day like that.

Wow. I'm not sure about once a week but once a quarter would be good!
