Comments

Like I said, I don't think writing every day is my style. But I am going to try handling comments differently, by responding to each comment IN the comments. I've always been impressed when bloggers do this -- it seems respectful and nice -- so I'm going to give it a try.

Hey Leslie,
First, big congrats on the size 2!! Did you get those floors mopped yet ;)

I'm happy to hear how happy you sound. That run sounds great, but as you know me, it's not for me ;)
I like how you give excersise a purpose. Mine is just to stay healthy...nothing more, nothing less.

I love roasted brussle sprouts!!

Have a super day!

This is dependent on the person actually going back to your post a second time and reading comments again....I very rarely do this myself, so if you were to comment on my comment this way, I would likely miss it.

I just typed a much longer response but Blogger ate it. I think the other one made more sense...oh well!

Leslie,

thanks for checking in on my blog. I agree, it's nice to have people respond to posts...but we call get busy and I understand that sometimes it can get tough. But it's a good habit to get into!

Be well!

I have e-mail responses function selected, so when someone comments I know about it, and can respond in kind.

Though I must say, I've never felt your blogging actions, have in any way shown even the merest disrespect, or ingorance of my comments.

So no worries there. You always know how to give a lot of warmth, and feeling when you write, so I know whan you write, it's done not just for purpose, or necessity or need, but also to inform, touch and inspire others, which you do do really well, so you'll never hear me say anything even slightly negative, about your writing actions, human touch, content, or expressiveness.

Keep up the excellent writing, and I hope you are having a wonderful day. You deserve it.

I do feel very proud to have discovered and supported you, and I will continue to do so, for as long as is possble :-) :-).

Thanks as always for being you Leslie, and best wishes.

:-) :-)

Even before I thought of having a blog, I took notice that many bloggers replied in the comments section, and I just adopted that same concept from the start. I tried switching over to replying in my posts, as many do, but it just didn't work for me.

Now there's a "e-mail follow up comments" option on Blogger, so if I want to check for your reply or other comments I can just check that little box. (I've never done that before but I guess I could give it a try now!)

Have a great week!

Colette,

Staying healthy is a great reason to do what you do, but I still think that assigning a purpose to each workout makes it more fun, whether it's an upper body blast, or a "my jeans are gonna fit with ease, baby!" workout.
And because he's the BEST, Tim mopped the floors before I got a chance to do them!

Eileen,
I don't usually check back in comments either, but like I said, I figured I'd try something new this month.
Blogger eats some of my BEST stuff. :( But not as much as it used to. :)

Franz,
I'm hoping you figure out the sugar thing so I can learn from your experience. So I'll be keeping up with your writings for sure!

Matt,
Big heartfelt thanks for your oh-so-encouraging words!

Irene,
The new email notification is a neat thing, but I've kind of messed that up, as my google login is linked with an email that's not my primary email. Yet another thing on the list of small annoyances to deal with someday! Hope you're back to good runs soon.
