Mather Mud Run

We had a blast! Tucker and I had decided to do this 5 mile obstacle course run. Then Katie said she'd do it. Then Laudon and her son Justin! Hooray -- the more the merrier, right?

We had a fantastic time. If you live in the area, this is a super fun event that you might consider for next year.

Tucker, Justin, Laudon and me atop the hill overlooking the mud pit.

Me and Katie on the same hill. (Note to self -- do not pose with leg in unflattering position again!) Notice how clean we are. Obviously, this is a pre-race picture!

Katie and me after the 5 mile race.

Mission accomplished by all!!!

Big congratulations to Laudon, Justin, and Katie for finishing their first 5-mile mud run. And special hugs and kudos to Katie for feeling the fear and doing it anyway. You rock, Katie!!!

Wow, that looks like fun! Thanks for posting so quickly. I've been dying to know how Katie did. I wish I could join you all out there looks like a blast! Congratulations to you all!

BTW, I looked at that second picture and thought 1) hey there's Katie, 2)damn check out Leslie's ripped legs! Not unflattering in the least. You got 'em, flaunt 'em!

I'm still laughing about the muscle picture!

First of all, you rock. How do you look so clean in the bicep picture??????????? If you zoom in, I'm so muddy, but you're as clean as a whistle. Did you find a shower or something?

Thanks so much for putting the idea in my head!!! It's now 6:00 and I still can't believe how fast I ran or how I even did it.

Congrats to each one of you ;)

You don't look nearly as dirty or muddy as you should on a "mud" run. :-) Great job, though. I'll definitely look into for next year!

You did that and you're worried about where to put a Leg?

You need to prioritise how you summarise your achievements :-p ;-p.

There's certainly nothing wrong with someones Legs, if they help the person do things that you do.

WELL DONE and best wishes.

:-) :-).
