Kettlebells with Tracy

Tracy Reifkind is teaching kettlebell swing classes in Palo Alto in January. I took her class in Healdsburg in September and it was wonderful! Here's a video from the Healdsburg class. I'm in the pink t-shirt and black shorts. There are more videos on Tracy's website.

If you've ever wanted to learn to swing a kettlebell, get yourself to Palo Alto to learn from one of the best.

Thanks for posting this vid on kettlebells. It looks like the instructor is barefoot. Is this the best practice or should I wear shoes? And I like the idea of a wrist band to protect my bony wrists. ( See my image on my blog. ) Is that OK?
I'm sure I will have more questions as I experiment with other moves ; )

I wouldn't worry too much about what you're trying to do with food. It's obviously a difficult thing when you try to do something, and it's not to everyones taste so to speak.

Perhaps you could simplify the process, by having something simple like a basic Chicken and Veggies dinner for example, then make some kind of seperate Sauce for it perhaps, and then you can add Sauce to some meals and not to others, depending on who is willing to have what.

Whatever happens, don't be too hard on yourself, I'm sure you're not the only one in this situation, because not all people are the same, and they won't all like the same things.

The main thing is you care enough to try, and that's a big thing.

There's plenty of people who just buy fried crap in containers, and give their family that, and the family just accept it, because they all think it's normal to be fat, and eat loads of crappola.

Take care, and best wishes :-) :-).
