A Thank-You Letter

Dear heavily-tattooed twenty-something man,

I am VERY happily married. My husband is wonderful, and I adore my children. And I really like my life. But when you drove up next to me at the red light, mouthed "WOW" and smiled at me, well, that lifted my spirits like you can't even imagine. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Hi Leslie.

I'm really sorry I haven't posted here for some time, I honestly wasn't ignoring you. Although I have peoples blogs listed on mine, I normally access them through favourites folder.

I only just realised I'd stored yours wrongly, so I thought you hadn't posted anything since June.

Sincerely wasn't ignoring you, and to be truthful, you became and still are, a great inspiration to me, so again, sincere apologies for appearing to stop giving support, it wasn't intentional :-).

Obviously I do have some things to say, and firstly, I wanted to say BIG CONGRATS on your WTF last year.

I think you looked fantastic, and even if you never compete again, you deserve to feel on top the world, for it, because I appreciate how hard to prep for a show it must be, and you certainly did yourself proud.

WELL DONE. You are someone who could provide great hope to those, who are 35+, who think the're too old to compete. You' be a great rolemodel too.

As for the MUD run, CONGRATS again. I suppoose you'll never know whether the mud had any bearing on the level of competition, but 3rd in your class, is amazing, and you are certainly proving as if proof was needed, that perhaps life does begin at 40.

It's these sorts of things that inspired / inspire me, and the things you write about, and about yourself, I find impressive, and certainly like many others words / deeds, they help me maitain the resolve, in my own life.

I wish you lots, and lots of luck with your personal training business. I know deep down, you have the Heart, passion, and dedication to be a huge success with this, as you have been with other liefstyle endeavours before, e.g the Mud Run, WTF etc etc.

You will have a great impact on people, as you have a great impact on people like me, just with your words, so being able to change peoples lives, with your skills is a wonderful thing, and I have the utmost respect and admiration for you, for doing it, I think you'll be fantastc and successful.

If I may offer any suggestions, I would say, have you thought about trying to get those little workout bars, with the clips or collars, asd you can then buy discs for them, and unlike dumbbells where you're second guessing peoples future ability, you can buy extra discs for the bars, as and when peoples physical requirements increase.

That way you don't have to wait months, for a pair of moderately weight dumbbells to finally be worth the money.

Just a thought, not telling you how to run your business.

Good luck for the future Leslie, I will continue to keep checking in, if you'll have me :-), and I know you will succeed with anything you do, because you deserve it, and you give 100%, and for everything in your life, you should be very, very proud of yourself.

You are a truly amazing person.

:-) :-).
