Sometimes the best workout... no workout. Today Tucker's at Marine World and it is absolutely beautiful outside. So with no responsibilities and beautiful weather, I put on my running clothes intending to go 5 or 6 (even though I'm supposed to be tapering for Sunday's race). I got out of our court and maybe 1/2 of a block from home, then turned around and headed back. My hips were hurting. (IT band stuff -- I've been foam rolling and it's getting much better.) My muscles were tired. And based on how I felt, the best workout was NO workout.
