... I was onstage at the Women's Tri-Fitness competition in Las Vegas. It was an amazing experience, and I had tears in my eyes as I saw my husband and sons cheering me on. I NEVER would have believed that I could, at age 44, lose 20 pounds, get in shape, and have the courage to do something like this. In fact, as I think back on it, I still can't believe it actually happened! It was one of the best experiences of my life.
If anyone needs a microscopic shiny red bikini, I've got one!

PS. I almost forgot... Yes I am running in the San Jose Inagural Rock N Roll Half Marathon in October -- I already have my flight booked. I'll be running it with my brother, who lives in Fremont.
